Our Approach

Great websites live on the Internet; they entice the random visitor, please the regular and satisfy the interested. They live and breathe, and like a fine wine – occasionally require a 1/4 turn and some dusting. This processes is called the “Website Development Cycle of Life”.

Note: We work hard trying to maintain a pace that is both, comfortable for you and gets your site live and operational as soon as possible. We understand busy schedules, but it is paramount that you work with us to ensure the highest level of attention and care that your new website requires.

1. Evaluate Your Needs & Wants

In order to assemble the best possible online representation of your business or marketing message, we have to start with the basics. It is up to you to ensure that we have all the pieces of the puzzle before we start trying to put it together. We will walk through a series of basic interviews. These interviews are specifically designed to get to the root of the message you are trying to convey, capture the thoughts and ideas about the site you may want, and ultimately match the whole process with the “pulse” of you and your business.

2. Design the Right Solution

We then take what we have learned and begin the design process. We will draft a few site look possibilities and bounce ideas off you while we build your online presence together. After defining the form, we will then tackle function. This step is critical in identifying how the site will work for you now and in the future.

3. Develop Your Professional Website

Once all design is approved, we close the doors for a bit and build the initial release. Downing 1-liters of Mountain Dew, breaking only for the occasional Hot-Pocket, we will tirelessly work on creating the newly defined vision.

4. Test, Review and Publish Your New Site

Upon completion of the work, we will provide you with a test web address that you can use to preview the site before others see it. Final changes are discussed, estimated and again the door shuts, soda-cans crack open and we implement those changes. After it is all signed off – we tie your domain name to the site, drop the test address and you are online!

5. Start Collecting Statistics

This is one of the most important, and highly neglected, steps in any website project. The second people start viewing your site; you need to know where they came from, how they found you, and what they did while they were there. We recommend a minimum of one-month’s data before making any changes.

6. Analyze All The Numbers

After the defined period of time has elapsed and we have collected the “how”, it’s then time to determine the “why.” We will work with you to identify trends, spot issues, and maximize your visitor’s experience. 1/4 turn, a little dusting and now see step 1!
